GAJOLDABA ON TISTA BARRAGE
An hour's drive through the Baikunthapur forests will take you to Gajoldoba (25 Kms) an ideal place for bird watchers. The place has been a boon to the migratory water fouls after a dam was constructed for irrigational purposes on river Tista. |

The headquarters of the Uttar Dinajpur district, Raiganj is adjacent to NH-34, 425 Kms from Kolkata and enroute to Siliguri. The principal attraction of Raiganj is a vast and beautiful bird sanctuary on the bank of a small river named Kulik. |
